Graphic Designer Des Moines
As managed by the Art Director, the Graphic Designer produces high quality, high impact artwork in support of the department’s marketing and communications services for campus client departments. The work product is used in publications, collateral materials, and all forms of digital and traditional applications (advertisements, videos and other marketing materials) to promote Des Moines University, the DMU Clinic, faculty, administration and student organizations. Outputs include design for websites, books, magazines, exhibitions, special events, institutional identity, etc.
Director Center for Educational Enhancement Des Moines
The Director of the Center for Educational Enhancement will ensure high quality support for the enhancement of the academic strength of students and faculty to promote an innovative culture. CEE focus includes support for learning, teaching, assessment, evaluation, faculty development, educational scholarship, continuing medical education, and library services information management. The director will coach, develop, mentor, and evaluate CEE leads/directors while promoting a collaborative, best-practices, and team-based culture. The Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Center and will oversee staff/faculty, budget, and policies.
Physical Therapist Des Moines
Provide direct patient care to individuals with physical impairments and/or functional limitations in outpatient clinic setting. The physical therapist provides an evaluation and screening of all systems, coordinates a physical therapy program and provides treatment intervention within the DMU Physical Therapy clinic or the DMU Physical Therapy Clinic and Sports Performance Center. Serve as a clinical instructor/preceptor for DMU clinical programs and job shadowing experiences. Provide education to patients/families, DMU and the community on the profession of physical therapy.
Faculty Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program Des Moines
Collaborating with and reporting to the Director and Chair of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, the Doctor of Occupational Therapy faculty member plan, coordinate, and facilitate OTD courses and laboratories. Under the direction of the Director of Simulation, the Simulation Technician will provide technical simulation event support for the center. Using industry standards and established best practices, this individual will be responsible for supply inventory and stocking, set-up and clean-up of simulation spaces for safe and optimal learning environments, set-up, maintenance, and inventory of equipment, assisting with the implementation of events as directed including the operating of audiovisual equipment, computer software, and manikins, check-in, participant instructions, proctoring, functioning as a Standardized Patient or simulated healthcare provider in simulations, and AHA Basic Life Support instruction.

Simulation Specialist Des Moines
The Simulation Specialist will collaborate with the various courses to create rigorous, relevant, realistic and educationally sound simulation encounters. This includes high-fidelity, medium-fidelity, task training, and SP encounters dependent on program learning objectives. Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Research Administration (SDRA), this position is responsible for the full lifecycle of grant administration including identification of funding sources, proposal development and review, pre-award grant and contract proposal assistance, budget development, proposal submission, grant and contract award negotiation, sub-award issuance, and post-award administration (effort reporting, budget monitoring, COI, etc.) related to funding provided in the form of grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts from external funding sources (e.g., federal agencies, state agencies, private companies, or foundations etc.) in support of research, teaching and learning, and service mission of the university. Review proposals and awards and other sponsor documentation for compliance with applicable sponsor-specific guidelines, federal regulations and University policies. Prepare negotiated documents for award processing and acceptance by institution officials. Position supports the SDRA in the management of internal grant programs. The responsibilities of the Grants Specialist may change based on business needs, revisions to the research vision and research direction of the University.

Assist in the design, preparation, and execution of laboratory experiments under the direction of one or more Principal Investigators; maintain laboratory instruments; assist in laboratory procedures and student teaching/training; and maintain the general orderliness of the laboratory.
