Instructional Design and Educational Support Specialist West Des Moines

Teaches courses and / or advises students in the MPH and/or MHA program curricula.
Library Services Technical Associate (.8) West Des Moines
Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of the Center for Educational Enhancement, the Library Services Technical Associate (.8) will support appropriate services within the Center for Educational Enhancement (CEE), including oversight of access services. Functions include interlibrary loan, systems administration of the library management system, and coordinating digital content and access to resources within the institutional repository and course reserves systems. This position will also supervise and train student workers. This position will be cross trained to assist with technical troubleshooting and other customer service oriented functions. The individuals in this position will join a team dedicated to advancing quality, technology-enhanced teaching, learning, research, and scholarship.
Chief Clinic Administrative Officer Des Moines
Oversee and lead DMU’s commitment to clinical excellence, directing Des Moines University Clinic’s and Wellness Department’s key processes across i) clinical operations, ii) clinical quality and patient safety, and wellness programming. Provide strategic vision, leadership, direction and high-level oversight to clinic managers and staff. Collaborate with University Leadership to drive the strategic vision for Des Moines University Clinic and Wellness across multiple sites and business models.
Administrative Assistant West Des Moines
The Administrative Assistant provides programmatic coordination and operational oversight for a variety of student-centered research initiatives within the Office of Research. This role supports research program implementation and evaluation, including academic research electives, mentored research opportunities, external fellowships, and institutional research events. The position also facilitates faculty and student engagement in research activities, manages communications and logistics, and collaborates with colleagues across the institution to advance the research mission.
Assistant Professor Occupational Therapy West Des Moines
Collaborating with and reporting to the Director and Chair of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, the Doctor of Occupational Therapy faculty members plan, coordinate, and facilitate OTD courses and laboratories. This will include cooperation and collaboration with other program faculty and staff and other University departments to create and maintain an exceptional educational program for OTD students. As a faculty member, duties of all faculty positions include teaching, research, and service.
Assistant Professor OBGYN (.25 FTE) West Des Moines
This is a part-time (0.25 FTE, average 10 hours a week) academic Obstetrics/Gynecology position with the focus entirely on the education of students. There are no assigned clinical responsibilities with this position.
Assistant Professor Surgery (.2) West Des Moines
This is a part-time (0.2 FTE, average 8 hours a week) academic Surgery position with the focus entirely on the education of students. There are no assigned clinical responsibilities with this position.
Athletic Trainer PRN West Des Moines
Athletic Trainers are healthcare providers who specialize in providing primary care, injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Athletic Trainers will provide onsite coverage at the MidAmerican Rec Plex or at other affiliate locations as needed for a wide variety of sports. In addition, athletic trainers will provide education to athletes, families, coaches, DMU, and the community on injury prevention, sports rehabilitations, and performance enhancement.
