Join our dynamic team as a Grant Writer, supporting the Executive Director of Research in managing internal grant programs and partnerships. This crucial role involves overseeing the entire grant and lifecycle of sponsored program administration, from identifying funding sources to post-award administration. If you are a seasoned grants professional with exceptional writing skills and a passion for advancing research, teaching, and learning missions, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Write key sections of grant proposals, contracts, subcontracts, and reports, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of applications, including the collection and maintenance of necessary information.
  • Review and edit final drafts to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines.
  • Keep administrative staff informed about funded proposals for seamless post-award processing.

  • Collaborate with research teams to manage funds efficiently and prevent funding loss.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing university policies related to grant administration.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree desirable.
  • Three to five years of experience as a grants administrator.
  • One year of demonstrated experience in writing and editing articles.
  • Knowledge of grant program award criteria.
  • Successful experience in establishing new opportunities and partnerships.
