We are seeking a highly accountable, hands-on Revenue Cycle & Compliance Manager to take full ownership of the financial performance of our multispecialty clinic. This is a high-impact operational leadership role for a professional who thrives in complex healthcare environments and understands that sustainable margin performance begins with disciplined revenue cycle execution.
This is not a maintenance position. We are looking for a strategic operator who can rapidly assess current-state revenue cycle processes, diagnose root causes of revenue leakage, and implement corrective systems that drive measurable improvements in cash flow, accounts receivable performance, denial management, and collections. The successful candidate will bring both analytical rigor and operational follow-through—someone who is comfortable rebuilding workflows, enforcing accountability, and establishing transparent, real-time reporting that equips leadership with clear financial visibility and decision-making insight.
If you are motivated by measurable results, operational integrity, and building systems that perform under scrutiny, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a full revenue cycle transformation within the first 6–12 months, including a comprehensive assessment, elimination of revenue leakage, reduction of >90-day AR, improvement of clean claim rate to ≥95%, denial rate below benchmark, and net collection rate to ≥95%.
- Own end-to-end revenue cycle operations, overseeing front-end revenue integrity, charge capture and coding accuracy, claims submission, denial management and appeals, AR performance, underpayment recovery, payment posting, and patient collections.
- Drive financial performance through data and analytics, developing executive dashboards and actively managing KPIs including days in AR, aging by payer, clean claim rate, denial trends, charge lag, and payer reimbursement performance.
- Optimize processes, systems, and team performance, standardizing SOPs, strengthening EMR/practice management workflows, eliminating single-point dependencies through cross-training, and establishing clear productivity and accountability benchmarks.
- Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance, serving as HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer, leading risk assessments and audits, maintaining payer credentialing (as structured), enforcing billing and documentation compliance standards, and overseeing required institutional training and policies.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
- Five or more years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience.
- Experience in a multispecialty or complex physician practice.
- Demonstrated success improving AR, collections, and denial metrics.
- Strong payer contracting and reimbursement knowledge.
- Experience supervising billing teams.
- Deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and payer guidelines.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience with EMR and practice management systems.
- CPC, CPB, CRCR, or similar certification.
