As a Recruitment and Admissions Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our programs by building dynamic relationships with prospective students, advisors, families, and internal partners. Leveraging your deep expertise in graduate healthcare recruitment and admissions, you’ll guide candidates from first interest through matriculation—balancing a keen attention to policy and budget with a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset. In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, your ability to think creatively and act decisively will directly impact our growth and the success of the students we serve.
What you’ll do:
- Leverage CRM and recruitment technologies to manage the full admissions funnel, delivering data-driven insights, reporting, and predictive analysis to support enrollment growth.
- Coordinate end-to-end admissions processes, including application review, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and collaboration with faculty and program leadership.
- Ensure compliance with admissions policies and best practices while applying holistic review strategies aligned with institutional mission, values, and enrollment goals.
- Execute recruitment strategies through national travel, events, and partnerships with advisors, schools, and organizations to expand the prospective student pipeline.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and stakeholders, enhancing engagement through effective communication, training support, and continuous improvement of recruitment strategies.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree is related field required.
- Two years of experience in recruiting, marketing, human resources, pathway development, student admissions, or related activities in higher education preferred.
- Experience with admissions software/CRM systems preferred.
- Healthcare background/experience helpful.
- For positions assigned to online programs, experience with online education and recruitment is preferred.

Total Rewards:
DMU offers competitive salaries. For this position, we anticipate a starting salary between $65,000 - $72,000. However, the final offered salary will be commiserate with the qualifications and experiences of the selected candidate.
