Des Moines University is seeking an Academic Assistant who is professional and goal-oriented.  In this position, the Academic Assistant provides complete logistical, secretarial and clerical support to all faculty within the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, with consistent quality performance and achieving above standard results. The Academic Assistant is required to act responsibly and professionally, adhering to all university and departmental policies and procedures.


  • High school degree or equivalent, plus two years of experience as an assistant or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Some college education or business school training desired.
