Business Support Specialist West Des Moines
This position will work independently in support of the business and finance operations and functions reporting to the CFO. The Business Support Specialist (BSS) responsibilities include project management and coordination, as well as responsibilities related to business and finance, facilities management, dining services and campus store operations. The position will also provide administrative support to the Business and Finance department and serve as the administrator for the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. The BSS will collaborate with other Executive Leadership Team (ELT) offices and will represent the CFO and DMU in communication with external parties requiring excellent communication and organization skills. The position will back up the Contracts and Insurance Administrator. The BSS will operate strategically to advance DMU’s mission and the CFO’s initiatives, so active communication is required for success. The work is varied and performed independently requiring a proactive approach and utilizes extensive experience and understanding of operations, policies, and procedures to interpret and resolve complex issues.

Clinical Skills Simulation Specialist West Des Moines
The Clinical Skills Simulation Specialist will work with the Simulation Center Director, - Simulation Manager, and Surgical Skills Lab Coordinator to prepare for courses held for all DMU students, within the Skills Lab and facilitate scheduled simulations. The Clinical Coordinator will work with various faculty stakeholders from DMU to prepare for sessions, set up task trainers, conduct training, prepare, and conduct scenarios, facilitate debriefing sessions and arrange faculty coverage when appropriate.
